Lift to Pembroke

Has anyone a spare seat to St.David's.Not a problem if not.Am making fallback plan to make it down and back by train.But need to arrange booking at  the camp site and cheap train fares by Tues.Cheers

Weather Prediction from Thurday

Unless someone is having a joke ,the weather is apparently set fair from Thursday onwards ,maybe even Wednesday pm..Then, forecast for the following 2 weeks  are average temperatures of 29 degrees ! The weather is heading from Europe this weekend

Lagangarbh weekend

Friday afternoon myself, Ian, Colin and Pete did a little scramble (grade 3 with 2 stars) at the back of the hut on a buttress to the right of the descent path on the Buchaille.  Lovely grippy rock and although it was wet it was a fantastic warm up for the rest of the weekend.  Only an hour to complete it, but then the weather came in bad and it was hail-stoning hard.  Then 10 minutes later glorious sunshine, so we sweat our way back down to the hut to wait for the rest to arrive.  Theron…

MOB minutes May meeting Annual AGM

The AGM was well attended with approx 15 members.



Our current chair Cath Skinner did a quick resume of the years' events and thanked the members for their efforts and participation. Particular thanks goes to those who put events on the web site and managed them for all. We have had some great times out and about over the year together.

Dave Dickson and I have been involved for a long time but I have now left the area and Dave is probably reaching his last fifty years of useful service (sorry to be so blunt, Dave).

MOB minute Jan 2017 meeting

This was the annual photo comp presentation. Meeting well attended by 23 members.

New 20.00 hrs start time seems to work well.

People seems to be getting out and about over the xmas hols albeit on shorter ventures.

Plenty of biking and walking going on.

Future events include :

Sat 21st Jan. Christmas curry night. Let mick slater know if you are coming asap. This is usually well attended.
