Trying to contact Tony Hewittson

Dear all,I'm trying to contact Tony, in order to close the old MOB Natwest bank account. Only Mike and Tony are authorised signatories on the account, and both need to sign the form to authorise closure.I tried a couple of times phoning 07891 915926, his number on the membership list on the website. Both times got a 'currently unavailable' message. Is anyone in contact with him nowadays? Thanks,IanSee More

Report of Moel Famau Winter Walk

6 of us(Derek, Gary Walker, Ian Cuddy, Costel, Steve(Derek's mate) and myself) took part in the first 'Winter Walk' of the season. Started from Loggerheads Country Park car park at 9:15, after leaving a car at Bodfari. A very picturesque initial section took us along the bottom of a wooded limestone gorge. Then we crossed the river, climbed out of the gorge, and gradually worked our way up to Moel Famau, the highest peak of the Clwydian Range. From there we followed the ridge of the Clwydian…

December Mob walk

The weather forecast had dire warnings for travel so very limited turn out Average age of the walkers was 70 y.o. There was just a small amount f snow on roads. But the regular track up Pendle hill was hard packed snow hence slippery. Took took the cross country route to Ogden Clough about 6ins of soft snow. Very few people out on the tops. Sorry the younger members were all at home watching City week in fact all back home before kick off

MOB minutes May meeting Annual AGM

The AGM was well attended with approx 15 members.

Our current chair Cath Skinner did a quick resume of the years' events and thanked the members for their efforts and participation. Particular thanks goes to those who put events on the web site and managed them for all. We have had some great times out and about over the year together.
