Spare Copy of"The Self Coached Climber" Dan Hague and Douglas Hunter

I've recently bought a second copy of this book because I cannot find the DVD I originally had with it.

The book is a guide to movement when climbing and covers all there is to cover from body awareness through movement, physiology .training ,strength and power .I always go back to it (probably 'cos I need to)to check something particular.

If there's a MOB library,I'm happy to donate but if there isn't.The first person to contact me can have it.And if anyone has the means to…

It's actually my second account because I've no idea what email I used for the first. I feel so dishonest. :)

Hi Brian, not a problem, enjoyed it up at the crag too, and certainly don't mind passing on what I know , just the way I am, most definitely be out over the summer months , so more than likely cross paths again soon.

Easiest way to think of it is that when Lisa arrived at the top she found a rope belay within reach, which she then tied into in the normal way.

I can pick up up at the roundabout near your house, but I can't give you a lift home. Got to see a man about a dog, but there will be someone there who can give you a lift down, at least to Bolton if not home.

Text me to let me know if you want picking up (4.15pm )

Regards Derek

A Rite of passage

It was the Friday night of our February winter meet . We were the first to arrive at the Alex McIntyre hut near North Ballachulish and had ventured out in search of somewhere to eat . As we doubled back from a wrong turn in search of the Loch  Leven Hotel  John B took a call from Andy A suggesting the forecast for the following day favoured doing the  Aonach Eogach ridge. The conversation continued and the next thing I knew we were committed !

The following day we rose at…

Awoke 6.30 and peered out of the window expecting the worst but it wasn't that bad so by 7am l was up and breakfasting but still unsure whether to join the boys. Having Ridden up past Tottington to Holcombe for 9am there was no sign of anyone so a quick check of the phone…
