The Mountaineering Club of Bury (MOB) is a small, friendly club established in 1979.
We meet on alternate Wednesday evenings at,
The Waterloo pub,
Manchester Road,
Bury,
Lancashire.

IT'S A LONG WAY BUT WORTH IT

the weather wasn't going to be on our side, that was for sure but we were still going. crossing the plateau towards glencoe was a nightmare. horizontal rain ! there were a few times i thought the camper was going over but i had nowhere to hide. we made fort william on boxing day evening. it was cold, dark, windy and SHUT !

glen nevis was our sheltered spot for the night. i picked a tiny pull off before we got to the falls car park. my first mistake.....i should have walked it first ! …
