Currently touring SE Asia with my good friend and constant companion, Betty Swollocks.

Was in Cambodia last week and visited the Genocide museum and site of the 'Killing Fields' - pretty grim !

Now in Laos, just spent a week in a rural village with a local family. Going White Water Rafting tomorrow, looking forward to that. then it's a few days trekking in the Khao Yai National Park in Thailand.

Hi Mark. Yes I'm definitely doing the 50k and that's it!40 years off a bike and 3 weeks to get cycle makes the 100k look like a suicide mission. The 50 start at 9.45.Chas King ,I assume, will be doing the 100 in the same time i do the 50.Have you seen his photo on the Mob members site ?Looks like one scary rider !By the way ,there is a map and route description on the Bury CTC website .The map's right the description is wrong at the Bradshaw /Egerton section.Just go left to Egerton once you've gone sharp right at Bradshaw otherwise you end up further up the A666 beyond Egerton and heading to Darwen .My email address is and phone 07972023606..Cheers ,Bri
