Well, the afternoon's rain meant that it was slippery under foot and the vegetation was very wet where the controls were off-track but there was a window of dry weather so that the earliest finishers got round before the drizzle started again. Although some found a few of the control points a bit challenging, everybody seemed to enjoy the event. Orienteering this Wednesday

Rick has provided 11 maps for this, so we are all set.

Just in case you were thinking of wearing shorts for this on account of the fine warm weather I have organised for Wednesday evening, I would advise against as you are likely to encounter nettles and brambles.

Don't forget to bring a pencil or pen for marking your control card.

Saw you had a good time at the wall on wednesday - but lummox that I am - lummox being a lancashire term for somone with less than infinite intelligence left my rock boots next to deeks at the wall.
