Well, the afternoon's rain meant that it was slippery under foot and the vegetation was very wet where the controls were off-track but there was a window of dry weather so that the earliest finishers got round before the drizzle started again. Although some found a few of the control points a bit challenging, everybody seemed to enjoy the event. Just in case you were thinking of wearing shorts for this on account of the fine warm weather I have organised for Wednesday evening, I would advise against as you are likely to encounter nettles and brambles.
Don't forget to bring a pencil or pen for marking your control card.

sorry my new mobile phone or even my pda - what ever that is has gone a bit weird and I could not recover all my phone numbers.
Saw you had a good time at the wall on wednesday - but lummox that I am - lummox being a lancashire term for somone with less than infinite intelligence left my rock boots next to deeks at the wall. I am hoping that he has my boots in his bag or or or well it's just a pain when you get some shoes to fit and then you have to start all over again to get anuva pair to the same state...
I was maybe thinking of going down to the Gower Festival of climbing - which I think is the weekend after next -- whatdya think???
