Night Out HVS 5b at Deeply...

Climbed 'Night Out' at Deeply last night. Now that's never HVS ! I'd say its E1 any day. Anyone else lead it onsite? Ha'penny Arete, did that again too, is much less 'hairy'.

Get away...What would happen if you applied that logic to all routes ?

I think 'night out' it would be a solo on wires. I didn't hang around to see where any wires would go. You reach and place a cam before you go across not while yer doing the moves. Theres no feet till you get across to the arete and by then there's no more gear to place. Anyhow..it was a little bit of hairy fun.

Glad you said that Max, I've always given it a solid E1 and quite intimidating at that. Good lead, good route.
