I was talking to Mark Davies for a suggestion for a winter walk and he came up with a horseshoe walk around the back of Aber Falls, taking in the falls on the return leg. This is not an area I have been around so I'm keen to do explore it. I have had a look at Google maps and there seems to be parking on the old road just up from Aber Falls Cafe. As with most of my walks I'm going to leave the weekend flexible for a walk Saturday or Sunday depending on Weather, (Sunday preferably) I know it doesn't suit everyone but it's better to be out on a good day than in the pouring rain. I've estimated that I will be about 12 miles ish, depending on the weather we can shorten if needs be. 5 / 6 Hours. Start time 10am prompt This could be a full on Winter Walk pack accordingly, if anyone fancies coming but aren't sure about kit etc give me a call. Kind regards Derek

Greetings all. I've been looking at the weather and I am going to go with the Sunday as it seems the best day. Sounds like we will have a few attending so know doubt it will be a good day. I'm not to sure what the conditions are like on the fells but I would expect it to be quite wintering on the tops, Check out the Snowdon fell conditions on the web for a better idea. If anyone wants some crampons or an ice axe the Mob has some winter gear for members to use get in touch with Tony Hewitson as he has all the kit. Hope to see you down there Derek
