Event Description

I've had an Email off Nick Bond from the BMC.

Nick email me to say the long over due Wilton Festival is in full swing for this Sept. As you know the BMC have bought Wilton 1 on our behalf and a lot of work has been done.

The main part of the celebrations with be climbing on the Saturday with a BBQ and entertainment in the late afternoon onward.

As always we are in the hands of the gods but hopefully it will be a good do with a good turn out. It will be nice to see Wilton packed out with climbers and a chance to let your hair down as well.

If your interested please can you put your mug on the Event so I can let Nick know how many to expect.

Comment by Derek Kenyon on August 31, 2013 at 19:46: Sounds like the Wilton Festival is gaining momentum, I know that serveral climbers have been going up cleaning and climbing quite a few routes in Wilton 1. Be nice to get a good turn out, I'm hoping to camp up there and have a few pints. All we need is a bit of luck with the weather. Hope to see you there, all welcome.
