Theres not an easy way to make the walk too much shorter, but the time I've given for doing the walk is pritty generous and I'm sure you could do it much more quickly. One option may be if you could arrange to leave your car on the snake pass road at the junction with the pennine way, though I dont know what the parking oppotunities would be like. Sorry I cant be more helpfull.

Is there a shorter route that i can do on the day (where i could cut off and leave you lot to carry on)? I could do with being back in the car for 12ish.
