I spoke to Tony from The DCC tonight, and we are all set for this Saturday. He is thinking of doing a trip down Long Churn Pot, and possibly going on to Alum Pot as well. I will ring Bernies Cafe tomorrow to confirm that we have a party of ten or twelve coming so they will have the gear ready for hire. Just a couple of points I need to pass on. You will need a towel to dry off afterwards, and if you have an old door mat or car mat hanging around. It just gives you something to stand on at the back of the car whilst you get undressed after the trip. Also Tony did mention that there maybe ladders being used. So it might be an idea to pack your climbing harnesses because they will need to use saftey ropes; if this is the case. Oh and one last thing a strong bin bag will be helpful. If your caving gear is soaked wet through after the trip, as I strongly suspect it will be, you can pack it away before putting it in your cars. Hope you find this helpful and hope to see you on Saturday.

Peter is there room for my daughter

Peter what time are we meeting and where please

Hi Mark. Can't see a problem bringing your daughter along. We are meeting at Bernies Cafe, which is in the centre of Ingleton at about 10 O'clock on Saturday morning. You may need to bring wellies spoke to the guy at the shop and he's running low, but he's fine for all the other gear.
