Event Description
This walk will be from Ambleside over Wansfell Pike to Troutbeck. Possible stopping there at the Mortal Man pub for a coffee and then south and west back to Ambleside. There are plenty of cafe’s and pubs in Ambleside if we want to stay for a drink etc. It is approx 10km. Total ascent is only 621m so an easy one to kick off the winter walking season. See this months Trail magazine for a full description. There are great views from Wansfell.
Meet at the Rydal Rd car park nr the public toilets at 09.30 in Ambleside. Think this is a free Carpark on this date - all welcome.

All the car parks in Ambleside are free on Sunday 28th except Millers Bridge.
