High House hut (Kay Shoes) meet 18th June

I have just heard that several members have had to drop out of the High House hut meet in June.

It would be a shame if these places where not taken on this the best hut meet of the year. Athough if like usual there may still be a last minute rush to get places.

 

If you have not been to this hut before it is situated at the end of the Borrowdale valley in Seathwaite. Which is in striking range of all the major mountains in that area, Scarfell, Gable, Piller.

Also on the climbing front you have all the valley crags, Shepherds, Black, Falcone, Gillercombe. And if the weather permits the higher crags of Scafell, Gable and Piller.

The hut is well furnished with showers and all the usual cooking facilaties and also a fire pit out side for the evening entertainment. All for a fiver a night.

 

Its certainley my favorit hut meet.
