Geoff Davies (Long standing Judge at the Mob photo competition) has passed away

I am sorry to inform everyone that Geoff Davies our legendary photo competition judge who passed way on Monday morning peacefully in his sleep.  As a lot of you will know Geoff was our resident judge for the Mob photo competition for over 20 year until he became ill and could no longer do it. Geoff was well like and respected and he always spoke very highly of the quality of the photos and will be sadly missed.

Geoff will always be remembered for his catch phrase

"It's a good record of the event but it won't win owt tonight"

His funeral is on Friday 27th Feb at Overdale Bolton BL1 5BU at 2.30 for anyone wishing to attend.
