Last year I remember we had a Christmas walk between Christmas and New Year that started and ended at Dereks' and Anne put on some lunch for the finish.  It was a good day with loads of people up for the walk.

If people would like to continue this tradition, if someone wants to organise the walk, I am happy to sort out some food for afterwards.  Jill

Hi Jill.

I was only mentioning it to Ann this week, as said we sorted out last year as we have several other years.  Trouble is you tend to go over the same walks and it's always nice to go some where different.  Any thought's (-: D

Sounds like a job for The Brewster if you're listening Ian.  i also wonder if it could be a route taking in a few members houses if they are up for it -  a mince pie here, a glass of something there?  I'm certainly willing.

Greetings everyone.

Following on from the discussion on Mob Christmas short walk and lunch.

Ann has kindly got the soup in and we are more than happy to host it at our house this year.  We will be meeting at ours on the Saturday 27th December at 10.30 for a short local walk around 5 miles ish.  If any one would like to come but not walk or just have a shorter walk they are more than welcome.

If the weather is bad we will adjust the walk accordingly.

All we ask is that you let us know if your coming so Ann knows roughly how much food to do.

My email address is derek.kenyon@hotmail.co.uk   ( I will email you direction if you don't already know)

All welcome

Kind regards

Derek and Ann
