Just to let you know that the Bury Climbing Centre has been delayed and is now openning its doors on weekend 4/5 Dec. I beleve they are having a bouldering comp on the Sunday if any one is interested. I won't be going as I'm on the lads christmas weekend.  Had a message off John that you will be interested in..

As the foam got delayed it looks like we will be opening the weekend after, i.e. 4/5th December.
I hope you're better by then and can make it.
Thanks for letting the MOB know, all your help is appreciated, and we are looking into giving MOB members discounts on our for sale items and entry rates etc.

This has saved us asking for discount and it's nice to see he's thinking of the club, hopefully we will get a few new members and the Mob will get some exposure.

As I said I won't be able to make it, but it would be nice if a few members could show their faces.

The Bury Climbing Centre opens Saturday 4th. See below which I recieved.

Dear Nigel,

We are pleased to invite you to the opening of Bury Climbing Centre on Saturday 4th December at Bury Climbing Centre, Fountain Street North, Bury, BL9 7AN, just off Wash lane near H’s Diner.

This is the first dedicated climbing centre in Bury and facilities include a unique large overhang, various walls, double slab, roof section and large traversing area. All these can be used up to championship level and there are also 2 finger boards for training. There is also a cafe/diner and experienced staff will be available for tuition and support.

Opening times will be 11am until 8pm.

The day will be dedicated to viewing the Centre and registering, there will be a buffet and drinks available and also an opportunity to test the climbing walls for yourself!

There will also be an opportunity to enter the Rock of Bury Competition on Sunday.

Finally, we will also be running a Kids session between 3 and 5pm which will enable children to learn the basics and have fun at the same time.

We would be grateful if you would confirm your attendance and if possible, the approximate number of persons and the likely time you will arrive. This will enable us to give you our best possible attention,
