Not sure if people know about this. The BMC reported a couple of weeks back that a bolt had failed on a new-ish sport route in North Wales. The bolt broke without even taking full force of a leader fall, and turned out to be totally unsuitable to equip a sport route. I mention it because the same bolts may have been used at Castle Inn Quarry which I know some club members like to visit. More details can be found on this thread on ukbouldering.com. Be safe!

Hi Graham I had read about this and tried to find out more off one of the lads who lives and puts up routes down there. As yet I've not hear out, but its worth reading the article and taking note. D
