Event Description

Derek Holt has kindly offered to host this years walk over Rivington taking in Rivington Pike. We well be meeting up at 10.30 at the car park just past Rivington and Blackrod high school in Horwich. Derek is kindly putting some food and drink on after at his house with is near by where we are meeting. The walk will be a few hours with the route and time depending on weather conditions. If your going can you let us know so Derek knows how many to catering for, please can you tick if your turning out. Thanks for that Have a good Christmas Regards Derek

Comment by Derek Kenyon on December 24, 2012 at 17:47: I've spoken to Derek Holt and got some more directions for the car park meeting point. Go through the gates into Lever Park Ave for approximately 1/4 mile car park on left opposite school where the lane down to the castle. (Google shows the school in a different location but it is on two sites)
