Circular Walk in the How Gill Fells, start/finish at Sedbergh. Approx 12 miles. Taking in the summit of The Calf, highest point on the How Gills at 676m. Should meet up with some members of Aycliffe Fellwalking club, either part way along, or in a pub in Sedbergh at the end.
The How Gills are grassy, rounded but steep sided hills. Generally much quieter than other areas nearby like the Lake District and Yorkshire Dales.
I can give a lift to up to 4 people.
Otherwise meet at Sedbergh car park at grid ref 658919, 8:30 for 8:45 start.
Maps needed - OS Landranger 1:50,000 series, sheets 97 and 98

Ian Brewster and I are meeting at 7.15 under the last junction of the M65 before it meets the M61. Can park cars there and head North anybody interested meet there to car share. Mark Davies
