There's ample parking for at least 10 cars by the hut. There are two spaces adjacent to the side door, for disabled access, and space across the road for other users. The picture attached with the marquee is taken from the main car parking area looking towards Beddgelert.

We use electronic key fobs to access the hut - our front door is actually at the rear of the property on the opposite side from the road. Can you let me have an address to send the key fobs to you for use over the weekend? I'll send two fobs to you, but if you think you will need more can you let me know. These will need to be returned after your stay and we charge £20 for any lost or unreturned key fobs.

There is no mobile phone signal at the hut, nor is there a landline installed. The nearest reasonable phone signal is in Beddgelert. However, in an emergency we suggest using the phone available at the Cae Du campsite visible from the hut.

Although we have mains water at the hut we do not have mains waste and all waste water is treated using a bio-digester. This needs to be “fed” and will breakdown most waste items but we ask that only toilet paper is flushed down the toilets.

We do not have bins onsite at present, we are awaiting a delivery date from the local council, so you will need to take any rubbish with you I'm afraid. The closest public bins and recycling are located in the car park in Beddgelert.

Have double booked for Friday night so will be travelling down Saturday morning if anyone wants a lift.  Also, looking for a climbing partner Saturday if anyone up for it.

Sounds like a great hut meet and right in the heart of North Wales with easy access to Snowdon and Tremadoc and the Ogwin Valley area.  I will probably having a days biking and a days walking on the hills. I know there are still a few places free,
