Sundays trip to Froggatt didn't turn out quite as nice as we expected but the weather held off to allow us to get stuck in to some classic Grit Stone routes. Highlight of the Day were Mark Russels lead of Pendestal Crack his first HVS on the Grit. Also Gary's lead of Three Pebble Slab a bold HVS "given E1 in some guides" and Tonys lead of Sunset Crack HS 4c. New Jordon turned up for a flying visit seconding several VS's in good style, not bad considering that he's only just started climbing. Entertainment of the day was a mass ascent of a subterrainian route up in to the bowls of the earth, and Jordans accrobatics. By 4pm the Young Guns were off home, leaving the Oldies to slip a couple more routes in to hit the target 10 routes. Not a bad day at all.
Thanks Gary.
