I am looking for a little advice from the walkers in the club. A freind of mine wants to organise a walking route for him and his colleagues in work . Does anyone have any good suggestions for an intresting circular walk in the lakes. They are not looking to camp so his stipulations are the walk should begin in a town where they can get a B&B, stop in a different town for night two and then head back to the first town to complete the circuit the next day.Does any one have any ideas?

Any help much appreciated

Hi Mark

How longs a piece of string? There are any numbers of walks available to fit various levels of ability and fitness. What sort of distances do they want to cover in a day? Do they want a high level walk or valley walk? How experienced are they?
They may want to think about an option on thier second day, ie cutting it short if the weather turns bad or bus link if some one can't walk back? If you give me a bit more information I as well as a number of others in the club will give you some suggestions.

Regards

Derek
Sorry, to clarify

Last year they did the tourist route up Ben Nevis which they found a challenge. They would like to push themselves on the Saturday but I take your point Sunday should perhaps have the option of  a bail out if they are feeling it.

They are relatively inexperienced, some map reading skills but would prefer a relatively defined path but maybe some interesting section (they wont have ropes so nothing over a grade 1 scramble). And high level for the Saturday would probably be the most preferred option.
