The film is 'The Last Great Climb' with Leo Houlding - trailer here - www.thelastgreatclimb.com/

It is said to be one of the most spectacular and inspiring mountaineering films ever made - 'an epic to end all mountain epics' says the award winning producer Alastair Lee (Posing Productions) ! It is set in Queen Maud Land, Antarctica and the feature length film follows climber Leo Houlding and team as they attempt the Ulvetanna Peak.

Charity - CAN (Community Action Nepal) is a UK based charity, founded by Doug Scott to help some of the poorest people in the world - the mountain people of Nepal. Info here - www.canepal.org.uk/

You are all invited to attend, I will be ordering some tickets so if you want one let me know or order your own at the link on line. We may be going for a meal before had or and a drink in Ramsbottom after.

Sounds like it will be a cracking film to watch.

Up to press we have got at least 26 going from the club.

As said £8.00 per ticket which I'm hoping to get in before the night. So you can pay me via cheque or cash at the meeting, I maybe at the wall on Wednesday, if not can you pass on the money to Vicky please. See below the names who have got a ticket.
