Event Description

Come and join us for an evening of night navigation practice around Holcombe Hill. Bring a West Pennine Map if you have one and a compass and torch. Looking forward to a good night on the moor. Meeting at 7pm at the Shoulder of Mutton car park.

The start for this event will be in the car park of The Shoulder of Mutton, Holcombe (grid Ref 782166). We have a few DofE instructors joining us to add to the fun. Starts will be at timed intervals between 7.00pm and 7.30pm. Later departures will be possible but the last return time will be 9.15pm.

We have some copies of 1:25000 maps of the area but if you have your own West Pennine Moors maps these may be useful.
