A fantastic walk that will make the best of the available light just a week ahead of the year's darkest day.
Meet at 9.30 am to be walking at 10.00 prompt from the National trust car Park at the Old Dungeon Ghyll Hotel (that's the one further up the valley than the new one!)
The plan is to ascend via Red Tarn and return along Buscoe Sike. Super athletes are welcome to take in Bow Fell and we hope to have soup ready for anyone wanting it in Chapel Stile.
Currently (22 Nov) there are a few small patches of snow above 600m but the weather is turning colder and it would be prudent to take winter equipment.
Hoping for a great day!
