Meet at National Park car park in Clapham LE2 8EF

Pay and display but free on road parking available if spaces. Meet by toilet block at 9.30am.

Circular route passing Ingleborough Cave, up Trow Gill, past Gaping Gill and up to Little Ingleborough, then onto Ingleborough plateau. Plan to descend eastward to return via Nick Pot and Long Scar. Or can return by same route if short of time.

Around 10 miles in limestone country but relatively easy walking. Good views if clear.

Pub in village near car park.

Comment by John brandon on December 2, 2021 at 8:50: Might be an idea to bring micro spikes/ crampons if it looks in any way icy or snowy conditions, which it can be in Dec. Also headtorch and usual winter gear.
