Hey Derek okay I think in that case I rather wait and go climbing for the first time on the Curry night. Im size 7. Yep I will be at the meeting as I have to pay Ian the cost for the bennis walk. Thanks
Hi Derek, I gave up climbing after going travelling in about 1999 but started again four or five years ago. I'm married and have a baby boy! I see Al all the time, he's still climbing too, he lives in Diggle and has 2 kids. I also see foggy at his shop above BUK in Blackburn. Will come to a meet sometime soon, maybe Al too...
I'll be at the roundabout at the bottom of Summerseat Lane at 4.15 .And take my chances with the return journey .Thanks ,Derek .I just need to get as much climbing in as poss before Vietnam from Oct29.
Not done much recently, went to Denham last week but rain stopped play. Went to the Roaches a few weeks back with Will and fell totally in love with the place. Will was tallking about organising a weekend in the Don Whillans hut next May.
Won't be at the next meeting because I'm away, but will be back just in time for the weekend in the Lakes.
No, I don't think a repeat of next Saturday will ever be possible! Not sure about Braemar, will have some exams just after that so might need to put the nose bag on and eat some serious work.
Sorry I've not been down this year so far. Working in Ireland through the week and too tired to do much at the weekends.

I fancy the Winter Walk on Sunday. Are you or anyone you know able to give me a lift / car share
We had a fantastic day, Swirl How and Wetherlam. Got my money's worth out of the new Manta's and crampons, lots of icy snow on the tops and Jeff gave me some crampon and ice axe tuition. (thanks Jeff.)
