Dear Club Contact,
Please would you make your club & committee aware of the following series of specialist training courses that the BMC will be running for Club Members over the next 12 months?
BMC Training Courses
The BMC's Clubs’ Committee is organising a series of training weekends for BMC club members. The weekends have been set up in response to the BMC Club Survey carried out earlier this year. It revealed that a majority of clubs felt that they would benefit from training in specific areas, and to this end the Clubs Committee will offer training to club members.
The areas of concern/importance that were identified from the survey are
First Aid,
Winter Skills
Expedition Planning & First Aid
Navigation
The courses will be held at club huts around the UK , and will be run by highly experienced and qualified instructors. All the courses are all of 2 days duration, with accommodation included. Places are limited and may fill quickly.
For more details, please go to the article on the BMC website and read on.
BMC Club Seminar 2011
As a further reminder, the Club Seminar 2011 is taking place on 22nd October, and is free to attend. More information can be found here.
If you have any further questions about either the training or the seminar, please get in touch.
Cheerio,
Martin

Thanks for this information Mike, I'll try and get some free time before the next meet and speak to Martin and feedback concerning the training courses.
If anyone would like to be considered for any courses please let me know as soon as possible, or alternatively at the next meet.
