Hadrian's Wall Direct (photo 1)

Perfect conditions on the Ben, blue sky, hard freeze and only a light wind. The walk up to the CIC hut was a joy, full of stories from the past and expectation for the day ahead. My motivation was just right, I felt confident in my partner, Graeme (over 15 years expereince on Ben Nevis, he'd had his eye on Hadrian's Wall for 10 years!), everything felt like it was coming together perfectly.
