1. Xmas do

A good night was had by all at the Xmas do at the Jewel in the Crown. With 26 present this is turning into a regular high point of the year.

2. Subs

Subs (£23) are due and are to be submitted to the BMC by March 1^st in order to include insurance cover. This can now be paid directly by bank transfer with details on the website. Please accompany any transfer by a text to Elliot. (ES)

3. March winter hut meet – Scotland

Please can all members ensure they have paid subs for the year and so are covered by BMC insurance. Confirmed as paid on the hut meet are:

4. K shoes hut

This popular hut in Borrowdale has been booked 28-30^th July 2017 with the option to extend either side of the weekend at a reduced rate. This is expected to be a sell out and names will be taken for this in a few months. Only fully paid up members will be able to put their names on this list due to its popularity etc. DK

5. Black Sail Youth Hostel

The first 3 weekends in November are available to hire at around £30 pppn including breakfast and evening meal. Further details are to appear on the web.

6. March winter walk

Ian Brewster will organise a winter walk for March. Details on web. (IB)

Caroline McCann – Mountaineering in the Himalayas

Vicky Hayes has arranged for Caroline to deliver a talk to the MOB at the March meeting (2^nd). Further details on the website. (VH)

8. Funding for talks

Vicky also volunteered to look into funding possibilities for further talks. (VH)

9. Slipstones meet

A day at slipstones organised by Matt Henderson may be in the offing. Tba. (MH)

10. First aid training

Due to work commitments, these are on hold for now. (RP)

11. BMC meeting

Unfortunately, this meeting has passed the MOB by without a member present due to poor communication of the meeting date.

12. Roaches hut

Jordan is to look into booking the Roaches hut for next year. (JT)

13. LCC hut at Coniston

Nothing heard back yet.

14. Climbing

The MOB tend to climb Tuesday evenings alternating between Manchester Climbing Wall and Awesome Walls at Stockport. Other adhoc times when members are climbing are also often on the website. All welcome.
