MOB Minutes 15.09. 2010

Greetings to you all. I hope you’re all well, and enjoying the great outdoors; just a shame the weather isn’t playing ball.

Club Rack

We have progress with regards to the club rack. Will has now drawn up a list of what gear is needed, he will liaise with Rick to make sure that this is correct, and Toni will start searching on E-bay to see if we can get the gear at a greatly reduced price compared to shop prices. However this will only apply to the hardware, as things such as ropes and slings will be bought brand new for safety.

Summer Break

The summer break has been seen as a success and will be repeated next year. So in the months of July / August 2011 we will drop down to monthly meetings.

New Climbing Centre

There are application forms available from Derek for the new climbing centre which is scheduled to open soon. The forms allow you to become a member free of charge. All who are interested please contact Derek.

Winter Walks

The winter walks will be starting again in October, with one walk being held each month. So far Louise will lead October’s walk, with Derek doing November’s and Mike C choosing December’s walk. Keep an eye on the website for details.
