Greeting to you all I hope you are all well, and getting out and about making the most of our glorious summer.

We will start making enquiries with regards to what new equipment is needed for the club rack, hope to have more info for the next meeting.

High House Meet

Yet another fantastic meet at High House, the weather was spot on, and we all had an absolutely brilliant time. We would like thank Jeff for booking the hut, and it would be just wrong not to mention Dave & Derek for some of the finest fire building ever seen; Ray Mears would be proud. And last but not least for the MOB band 4 guitars and a violin, and all in fine voice; who could ask for more!

Walking on both Saturday and Sunday:
Sat: Sty Head, Sprinkling Tarn, Grains Gill
Sun: Castle Crag

Walking on Saturday

Pete & Chris
Attempted to climb Corvus (Ravens Crag) on the Saturday, but abandoned due to not being able to find the route. We will be back! Sun climbing with Ian, Lou, Col, on Wodon’s Wall.

Glencoe Meet 17th & 18th September.
I’ve managed to book a 16 bed bunk house at The Independent Hostel in Glencoe. Accommodation costs £10.00 a night, bedding is provided. Plus it’s only a ten minute walk to The Clachaig Inn; who could ask for more!

Mountain Biking Weekend
Mark Davies has organised a mountain biking weekend at The Newton Stewart Hostel in The Galloway area of Scotland on the 15th October. Please see MOB website for details.

Lairds Bothy Winter Meet
The Lairds Bothy in Kingussie has been booked for the weekend of 19th - 20th Feb 2011. More details to follow closer to time.
