Event Description

I'm heading out to the Chamonix area from the 28th July to 28th August for a spot of mountaineering and walking. There will be a gap between the 8th and 22nd of August where Janette and the family will be joining me and climbing will be somewhat curtailed! but if anyone fancy joining me to do a few classic routes, your more than welcome. I'm driving down so will have transport as well, though the cars pretty full, so I can't offer anyone a lift down unfortunately.

I'll be camping in the valley ( site yet to be confirmed)

I've packed my axe and rack, so ready for anything. I'll make sure I'm contactable by mobile and will be in touch when I'm out there. Planning to take the MTB as well.

Comment by Mike Chambers on July 18, 2012 at 23:01: Hi - culd be out from 17 aug to end of month. Plans include a section of GR 54 mountain biking and easy bolted climbing with Provence as a bad weather alternative. I'll send a phone number round and will try to meet up.

Don't think it would go down too well if I abandoned her in Cham. at the beginning of her holiday. Defiantly hook up for a drink or two. I'll try and catch up with you before we go.
