Fancy taking shelter from the wild winds of the highlands in a primitive stone shelter following a long drive and a stagger in the dark? Read on.
the plan is to stay at the A'Chuil bothy in Glendessary. Getting in is likely to involve a walk of about 6/7 km along a cart track. The bothy s well sited for various walks and Ian Brewster is already planning one of his famous little strolls. It's equally possible to stay low or pick off some local hills.
Bothy accommodation is free so we are not collecting cash but we will need to coordinate transport and the logistics of carrying in food and equipment. If there is a lot of interest we can expand into a bothy that lies km south in Glen Pean.
i had written more but this is my fourth attempt following a series of computer crashes - so if you'd like to know more, just ask!
