The cold weather seems to be coming in, and with it hope that the winter season is here. I've seen that Rick has been out in the Lakes already (jammy sod), although it seemed he was on the cusp of what was in condition. Just thought I would put a message out there to say that I am keen to get out. Not done any form of climbing for about 4 weeks now! It seems like forever!
Here's hoping that we finally have a good winter and that the predictions are right for a change!
Leo, you just jogged my memory on this one. Was thinking it would be good ( actually Dereks idea!) to have a bit of a network of mobile numbers of those interested in getting out. If any of us are getting out or are looking for a partner for a trip, we could send out a group text or e-mail. It would be nice to get out as a group and a good opportunity for those getting out for the first time in winter to team up with those who have more experience.
If your interested in being included in the list, please send your mobile number to me and I will let everyone know of any opportunities I'm aware of for getting out.
If anyone can think of a more efficient way, let me know. I did think of using the webpage, but I for one dont check it often enough.
Hey dude, have sent you my number! Def up for that, desperate to get out!!!
I am definately up for some winter action. My email addy is email@example.com and I have a smart phone so I get my emails as i am sent them. Keen to get out this weekend actually, I have a car and full winter equipment so ready to go. I think the Lakes is looking good. I have a guidebook.

Sorry guys I have realised I have put the wrong phone number above... it is actually 077 3000 5969
The weather looks like it is warming up this weekend! :-(
Yeah, I had a quick look on the BBC and the Fell Top Assessors website and looks like it will be 5-6'c based on Keswick. Dissapointing!
Has anyone got any plans to head up to Scotland?
