Do you have a down coat? I just learned that in order to make down clothing, outdoor brands like North Face and Patagonia are getting feathers from a company that lets its suppliers pluck live geese while they shriek in pain.

Everyone wants to keep warm during the winter, but it's not necessary at all for these companies to torture these animals.
