Event Description
A circular walk from Holmfirth, guesstimated distance 16 miles.
Holmfirth town centre - Holmbridge - Brownhill Reservoir - Rake Dike - Holme Moss - Black Hill summit - Wessenden Head - Bradshaw - Digley Reservoir - Hogley Green - Upperthong - Holmfirth.
Meet 8:30am at moorland car park on A635 between Greenfield and Holmfirth, GR050063(at boundary between Oldham and Kirklees boroughs). Map - OS Landranger(1:50,000) sheet 110, 'Sheffield & Huddersfield'.
There should be chance for a drink in one of the Holmfirth pubs at the end of the walk.
Money maybe needed for parking in Holmfirth.
