Event Description

Meet at Clough Hole Car Park, Widdop Rd, Hebden Bridge HX7 7AZ - 8:30-9am
Walk takes you over Clough Head Hill then to Lower Gorple Thorpe Reservoir, then Upper Gorple Thorpe Res. After these two res's walk takes you over to Gorple Stones and Hare Stone Hill, then down to Widdop Res. We are then coming backward and will traverse across to the three Walshaw Dean Reservoirs. Once here we then climb over White Hill and then down to Walshaw and to Hebden Dale and along the deep valley back towards the Car Park. The final steep climb out of the valley to the car park.    The views are fantastic all around the walk. Well worth the round. We do some of the Pennine way. Approx 12miles
Car Park costs £5 in cash. There are some laybys near Blake Dean which can be an alternative spot free parking but limited to approx 10 cars so may be full.
