After 18 months injuries ,i'm pretty much whole ,bar a touch of golfer's elbow. Why i don't know .I don't have golfing money. So if anyone is arranging any climbing or looking for someone to climb with morning ,day or evening ,I'm back in the running. But with no intention of pushing the boundaries;S,VS and low grade HVSs .

Best to you all during the summer season that's upon us,

Good day all round in blazing heat in the afternoon mitigated by a pleasant breeze .Should imagine Jordan JG woke up a bit sore but happy.

Five went to Hobson- Gary and Barry,Mark R ,Jordan JG and self.In all I think between us 7 climbs were done 2 v diffs,an HS ,3 VSs and an HVS 5a.Mark had his eyes on the last one from our arrival.Correct me if I'm wrong but the climbs were Amphitheatre ,Pocket Wall, the Harp,Foghorn Groove,Crew's route and the Western Grit top 50 "Parkers…

.Oh and Midnight Variation(and maybe not Foghorn ?)

Gary's run of quietly confident climbing continues apace and ,despite ,as he put it ,his head not being in the right place,Barry seconded Gary successfully on everything.

Was good for me to be back after a stuttering 18 months and it was a pleasure to be climbing with Mark and JJG.The day started slowly all round but what an ending to see Mark leading on Parkers as well if not better than I've ever seen him climb and Jordan ,with so little experience, tick off Parkers as his second. There's more to come if we have a half way decent summer and I hope I'm there to share some of it.
Lift to Pembroketag:mountaineeringclubofbury.ning.com,2011-05-22:2535987:BlogPost:187142011-05-22T20:07:39.000ZBrian Knowleshttps://mountaineeringclubofbury.ning.com/profile/BrianKnowles
Has anyone a spare seat to St.David's.Not a problem if not.Am making fallback plan to make it down and back by train. But need to arrange booking at the camp site and cheap train fares by Tues.Cheers

I have just noticed ,for anyone who may be interested, that Film 4 are showing a short "127 hours" special(before the Godfather Trilogy-a homage to Derek)I think it starts at either 8.30 or 8.50pm depending on which TV guide you're looking at.
