Deeply Vale clean up 2012

Grand plan to bring Deeply Vale back into condition and increase the climbing and bouldering. From the early days of the Mob we have been using Deeply Vale and many of our members have cut there teeth here and gone on to climb all around the world. I personally have got many happy memories of Deeply but unfortunately it has fallen out of favor over recent year and nature had taken back the crag. Fortunately there are a good number of members who want to see the crag restored, and improved. We have already put 9 hours work in the bank; not bad considering how much has been achieved.
As the photos show the work has not been as hard as was first thought due to the sandy soil. We have also added a 2 new stakes at the top, this means that the crag has stakes a long its full length. After all the proposed works has been done it will be well worth a visit and hopefully will encourage climbers to visit the crag, we might even pull in a few new members. If any one would like to get involved give me a call, the more the merrier. Please remember that parking is sensitive and do not use the fence to belay on.
Above all remember all the usual safety precautions.
Thanks to all those who have helped out up to now, it has already made a big difference.
