calling all climbers, wanabee climbers or just fancy seeing the mob for a night

If the weather is good we are

Summit Quarry

Climbs 107 – Rocktype Grit (quarried)

Crag features
Faces SE round the pool. The E2s round the pool are good, as are the E2s on the buttress just north. [Goi Ashmore]

Access notes
The Owners of the road most people park on have put up "No Parking" signs due to irresponsible drivers, please use the carpark that is BEFORE the wooden bridge - Lets not make access worse.

2 new belay stakes installed at top of Canalside butress

& the routes Cleaned of Grass

if the weather lets us down we are at Climb Rochdale

feel free to wear a silly hat, a prize for the worse !!

Looks like it will be outdoors weather looks promising! Let's hope so... Jimmy im setting off from Bury if that is any good to you I could pick you up from bury station? I don't know where nearest train stop is over rochdale area.

I'm keen to join you all on this event just struggling for transport.

Is anyone heading over from the Manchester area that I could get a lift with (I don't finish work till 5:00 in Castlefield) or would anyone mind picking me up if I can get a train near to Summit Quarry.

Hope I can join you all on Weds.

Fingers xd this dam rain will ease up, from what I remember it is quite a good quarry with a good mix of routes, check out UKC to get a feel for the place.
