I am keen to get to the Himalayas or perhaps the Andes next year. I'd prefer to go with trusted cronies - so if you might be keen on the same thing please let me know, otherwise I'll book on an Exodus trip (I had to explain to Caroline this is not a one way journey to Switzerland!) in October as an individual. Hi Jim - thanks - sounds excellent. I am going to stick to z
Autumn as I have just committed to several Dunblane High School DofE expeditions which includes probably three trips in August. Have you used Jagged Globe before?

My current plan is to go Everest three passes with a Nepalese outfit called Mountain Monarch as they have been recommended and there may be some ethical gains. I would be eager to know about any trips you might be thinking of further ahead.

Hi Mike,

I have just signed up for a trip to the Mongolian end of the Himalayas with Jagged Globe.

The trip is in July /August. Would this be the sort of thing you are looking at ?

I have looked at the trip for a few years now - but sometimes it has not happened. I have chosen it in part because of the 'cultural' interest of Mongolia and Ulan Bator as well as the 'mountain' bit.

It is called Mongolian Climber of the JG website.

December Mob walk

The weather forecast had dire warnings for travel so very limited turn out Average age of the walkers was 70 y.o. There was just a small amount f snow on roads. But the regular track up Pendle hill was hard packed snow hence slippery. Took took the cross country route to Ogden Clough about 6ins of soft snow. Very few people out on the tops. Sorry the younger members were all at home watching City week in fact all back home before kick off
