Navigation and Compass work

An expert from Silva, the compass manufacturer, is holding a series of workshops on navigation in various Cotswold Stores in the next month or so.The one in Manchester (Deansgate Store) is on the 5 August at 6.30pm. At last nights meeting in Bury I explained I was arranging for Doug Scott to give a lecture in Ramsbottom on Thursday 2 October 2014. The details of his talk are set out below. Hi Jim I forgot to mention on Wednesday.  On Friday 27th Dec we are having our Christmas stroll at Kenyon's this year. Meeting at mine 10.30am for a walk through the Burrs and back down through Walmersley for some Grub out ours.

MOB minutes May meeting Annual AGM

The AGM was well attended with approx 15 members.



Our current chair Cath Skinner did a quick resume of the years' events and thanked the members for their efforts and participation. Particular thanks goes to those who put events on the web site and managed them for all. We have had some great times out and about over the year together.

MOB minute Jan 2017 meeting

This was the annual photo comp presentation. Meeting well attended by 23 members.

New 20.00 hrs start time seems to work well.

People seems to be getting out and about over the xmas hols albeit on shorter ventures.

Plenty of biking and walking going on.

Future events include :

Sat 21st Jan. Christmas curry night. Let mick slater know if you are coming asap. This is usually well attended.
