1. Ian Brewster to renew YHA membership for the club
2. Dave Owen now has room plan for YHA Borrowdale – there are family
rooms for those who need them – please get in touch with him
3. Aite Cruinnichidh weekend was cancelled. £150 deposit now with
bunkhouse at Roy Bridge. We will arrange another weekend there

Activities

Rick and Derek had been to Idwal in January. Walked in by 7am but
could not beat the early-birds and had to queue. Managed Central Route
¾ with a variation finish. There is a write-up on the website
Ian and Stuart did Caldale Horeshoe in the Lakes with showers, hail
and wind
Mike Chambers led the Peak District winter walk – cold and windy but
clear
Derek has been mountain biking in the Dales.

Future plans
1 MOB 30th has been booked at Borrrowdale Youth Hostel 25th/26th
September 2009
Dave O is taking bookings and can pay by instalments to Dave O or Ian
Brewster – deposit of £10 per person secures a place
2 Mike Chambers has booked 10 beds at Crianlarich hut 6th/7th March
2009. These are now full but there are beds in places nearby so anyone
else who wants to go should contact Mike direct
3. Stuart is going to Mallorca from 6th-16th April it is only 200 of
our diminishing English pounds and that includes flights. He will give
you all the info you need if you want to go too – for any of that
period.
4. There is a MOB walk on 22nd February with Malcolm
5. Lagangarbh has been booked for the second weekend in June – but it
is now full.
